Timeline for PP4S 2026

To enable your children to extract the full benefit of participating in this project we recommend following this timeline:

  • GET ON BOARD
    Spring 2025
    • 27 February – Registration opens
      (Registration closes 31 October 2025 or until sold out)
    • Talk to your Head Teacher or staff team and get them excited. Discuss how it might be possible to incorporate the themes into the 2025-2026 curriculum
    • Get the key dates in your diary!
  • READ ALL ABOUT IT
    Summer 2025
    • July 2025 – Teacher Resource Packs posted and web resources available to all schools who have paid registration fee.
    • Work with your Head Teacher or team to build PP4S materials into your 2025-26 curriculum planning
    • Consider how to build learning songs into Autumn school or class assemblies
  • GET PLANNING
    Autumn 2025
    • September – Confirm date for Musician workshop visit
    • October – Ensure your school’s invoice is paid to confirm your registration and accurate bundle size.
    • October – Confirm your preferred teacher Inset date (October 2025 or January 2026)
    • October – Confirm Big Sing Attendance (January or February 2026)
    • Determine mode of travel to and from the Royal Albert Hall (i.e. Coach/ TfL)
  • DEEPENING ENGAGEMENT
    Winter 2026
    • January – March – Incorporating the curriculum materials as desired
    • January & February 2026 – Workshop and/or Big Sing Events
    • 30 January – Submit final numbers, PEEP plans for those requiring, transport plan, classroom demographics for Westminster Council
    • 13 February – Art Challenge final submissions
    • 13 February – Parent and Audience tickets available for purchase
    • 2 March – Schools tickets and arrival plans are emailed. Wristband posted
