What they say
The musical programme was inspired and the presenters, orchestra, choir and soloists equally so. As a parent I was delighted that my daughter was able to be part of such a fantastic and fun-filled evening, which I am sure will be a cherished memory for both her and her friends for a long time to come.
― parent
Prom Praise is an exciting mindblowing adventure where you sing your hearts out. I was nervous and yet I was excited.
― child, Age 10
I loved prom praise and experienced how the orchestra played their instruments. I also got to learn the story of the Lost Son
― child, Age 9
While it’s still so fresh in our minds – a huge thank you for yesterday from all of us at St Stephen’s C of E.
― teacher
Your organisation was impeccable, down to having a wordsearch in the programme! It will be a night for the children to remember and one for me just seeing so many happy faces.
What we have done
30000
During our visits to the Royal Albert Hall upto the last time in 2024, near 30,000 children and teachers have joined us there.
60+
More than 60 schools were represented from schools all around the London area and beyond.
22+
Following the first visit in 2002, Prom Praise for Schools has consistently presented high quality projects and events over 20 years to support music and religious education in schools.
Prom Praise for Schools went virtual in 2021
2021 was a unique year in the history of PP4S: it was the first time we were not able to sing together in the Royal Albert Hall, and the first time we produced a virtual mega choir performance of an original song.
Step By Step was written especially to share hope and encouragement with schoolchildren after a challenging and uncertain year. We worked with 33 schools and an amazing dedicated team of technicians to pull together this unique project, and are excited to share the brilliant results below.
Thanks to everyone who participated and to all who cheered us on.
