What Were You Made For?
In 2024, we introduced the song contest and were delighted to perform the winning song – There’s Nothing That You Can’t Do! – as part of our big concert in the Royal Albert Hall. This time, we are extending the contest to give more schools the opportunity to contribute to the 2026 performance.
There are two creative elements for schools who wish to participate:
- Create a soundscape which will be collated with submissions from other schools to feature in the opening scene of the PP4S performance
- Write a song, part of a song, poem or collection of phrases based on the 2026 PP4S theme
Look at the video below as Jamie explains this in more detail. Also have a look at the downloadable Lesson plans.
IMPORTANT NOTE – the Song Contest for this year is now closed.
Please do still contribute to the Soundscape! The Soundscape is open until 31 October 2025

What they say
The musical programme was inspired and the presenters, orchestra, choir and soloists equally so. As a parent I was delighted that my daughter was able to be part of such a fantastic and fun-filled evening, which I am sure will be a cherished memory for both her and her friends for a long time to come.
― parent
Prom Praise is an exciting mindblowing adventure where you sing your hearts out. I was nervous and yet I was excited.
― child, Age 10
I loved prom praise and experienced how the orchestra played their instruments. I also got to learn the story of the Lost Son
― child, Age 9
While it’s still so fresh in our minds – a huge thank you for yesterday from all of us at St Stephen’s C of E.
― teacher
Your organisation was impeccable, down to having a wordsearch in the programme! It will be a night for the children to remember and one for me just seeing so many happy faces.
